There have been several reactions to the moving of media personality and actress Nana Ama McBrown from Despite Media to General Media
During the unveiling of Nana Am McBrown at the forecourt of Media General, the media house organized a grand durbar with singing and dancing with an elaborate welcome ceremony for their new staff who is joining the Twi station of the media house, Onua TV.

Aside from the grand ceremony, the staff of Onua TV, led by Captain Smart, were seen wearing branded t-shirts with their new colleague’s photo printed on the front.
However, while others have applauded Medi General over the beautiful ceremony for Nan Ama, Afia Schwar, described Captain Smart and those who wore McBrown t-shirts as people with no strong brands.
In response to the shade of Afia Schwar, Captain Smart stated that he will tattoo McBrown’s face on his body. Adding that Schwar was pained and was only criticizing because she wished to have been in the shoes of McBrown to receive the same treatment.

I will have McBrown’s image drawn on my back as a tattoo…I am not a small presenter and I know my value but I feel proud about all I did to welcome her. We have come a long way from Kumasi. I’ll even produce her show to make her comfortable.

“We love you, Nana. On the day of your first program, we will wear new t-shirts in pink to welcome you. I know my sister and so if you don’t know her, shut up,” he said among others.
