Chris Hughton will be introduced to the public on March 20, 2023, according to the Ghana FA, just days before Ghana takes on Angola in a critical AFCON qualifier.

The former manager of Brighton and Newcastle United was appointed head coach of the Black Stars on February 12, 2023.

He had previously worked with the club as a technical advisor while Otto Addo was in charge. In order to formally declare his contract and thereby validate his appointment, the Ghana FA has now set the date, time, and location of a ceremony at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
