Christian Atsu’s wife breaks down reading tribute at burial service
The death of the late footballer, Christian Atsu has taken a great toll on the family especially his wife, Marie-Claire Rupio.
The burial service of Chrisitan Atsu took place today at the forecourt of the Statehouse where loved ones and family gathered to pay their last respect to the footballer.

Christian Atsu’s wife Marie-Claire Rupio Atsu paid an emotional tribute to her late husband when she took to the podium.
Christian Atsu’s wife was seen trying to keep a straight face while she was called to read the tribute. However, when she started reading the tribute, she broke down into unending tears. This made the twin sister of Atsu read the tribute for her.
“You are always on my side. You were always so full of life.
“You seemed to be immortal. Your smile, your love, I see you in our children’s smile.” part of her tribute read.
