According to Baba Sadiq, the creative industry can generate a lot of revenue for the country if it is carefully managed.
During an interview on Adom TV’s Showtyme with Andy Dosty, Baba Sadiq stated that government should not toy with the industry since it has the potential to support economic development.

According to him, in some other countries, the creative sectors are creating jobs for millions of people, hence it should be milked to the core.
“The creative industry has the potential to generate about $5b. It doesn’t have to be toyed with. We have to empower it. Multimedia alone is a part of the creative industry, you are employing about 1,000 people directly and others indirectly, so which government wouldn’t want to create that?”
“The creative industry can help with employment. You are not required always to have a super experience. Now photographers don’t charge cheaply,” Mr. Abu said.
