He also helped the Yankees win two American League pennants and two World Series championships.
Following his stint with the Yankees, Pepitone played for other teams, including the Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, and Atlanta Braves. However, his production declined, and he eventually retired from baseball in 1973 with a career batting average of .258, 219 home runs, and 707 RBIs.
