Reddick pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in classical music composition at the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music, followed by a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama in 1994.
Reddick’s acting career began with his portrayal of Detective Johnny Basil on the HBO series Oz. He later played various roles in popular television series such as The Wire, Lost, Fringe, and Bosch. In the film industry, he starred as Charon in the John Wick franchise, David Gentry in Angel Has Fallen, and Guillermin in Godzilla vs. Kong.
In addition to his acting career, Reddick was an accomplished musician who released his debut album, Contemplations & Remembrances, in 2007.
