Who is Wayne Shorter
Wayne Shorter was born on August 25, 1933 in Newark, a suburb of New Jersey in the United States of America where he grew up and had his education.

Wayne attended Newark Arts High School and completed it in 1952. During his days in high school Wayne performed with the Nat Phipps Band in Newark and discovered his talent for music and decided to study towards it.

He further studied at the New York University where he graduated with a degree in music education in 1956.
Wayne Shorter Children
Wayne Shorter had two children with different women, his first child is Miyako Shorter, a daughter who was born to his first wife Teruko Nakagami whom he married in 1961 and divorced in 1964.
Wayne Shorter later got married to Ana Maria Patricio 1970 and had his second daughter named Iska Shorter. In 1986, Iska Shorter died of a grand mal seizure at age 14.
